Madison Redler

Madison Redler is a nonbinary artist and designer, aspiring to bring their own and others dreams to life and to simply see happiness in the world, hoping to bring joy into others lives through self expression in fashion. Madison's favorite subject in the fashion design field is pattern drafting and draping, but also enjoys many other areas and aspects of fashion design, always looking for opportunities to learn something new and further develop their knowledge.

Throughout their life, Madison has tried many different artistic hobbies and crafts, from crocheting to painting and so much more. During their time as Massachusetts College of Art and Design, they discovered the art of "the artists book". This lead them to delve into the art of calligraphy, having never learned cursive in their former years. They then decided to reuse paper and other found materials to create their first artists book, using tea, coffee grounds, and turmeric to  age the papers and use dip pen nibs found at the MassArt ReStore, a second hand, free, art supply resource at their college. This lead to Madison's interest in sustainability and so much more. Madison majors in Fashion Design, having sewed since they were a child, they decided to go into fashion design because they strongly desired to learn pattern drafting, and haven't looked back since. Madison wanted to normalize fashion being for anyone, to spread the idea of clothing being without gender and being inclusive towards people of any body shape or size. Madison wants to help create a brighter future in fashion for everyone and the environment, wishing to help others designs come to life and their dreams come true.
